  • You are 18 or older and a music major at Texas Tech University.
  • You are getting ready for a concert performance in the next 3 months.
  • You can read standard musical notes.
  • You have no metal in your body that would make an MRI unsafe (like a pacemaker or metal implants).
  • You are not taking medications that affect your thinking or mood (like antidepressants or stimulants).
  • You can avoid alcohol for 48 hours and caffeine for 12 hours before the study visit.
