Binaural beats for adults with ADHD

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

This study tests whether listening to special audio tracks called binaural beats, which use two different tones in each ear, can help improve attention and other ADHD symptoms. If you have an ADHD diagnosis and can attend listening sessions twice a week for six weeks, you may be able to join.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 55 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with ADHD by a doctor or other qualified professional.
  • You can wear headphones and listen to audio sessions twice a week for six weeks.
  • You have no severe hearing problems that would prevent you from hearing the audio.
  • You do not have an untreated psychiatric condition like depression at the moment.
  • You have not started or changed your dose of stimulant, antipsychotic, or pain medication in the last month, and you do not plan to during the study.
