Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You need to be available for all study visits and sessions.
  • Your social media use should be moderate to severe (a score of 31 or higher on the Internet Addiction Test).
  • You cannot have a current mental health condition like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or autism.
  • You must not have taken any psychiatric medication or changed your dose in the last 3 months.
  • You should not have any conditions that make tDCS unsafe, like metal implants, seizures, or pregnancy.
