Who can take part

  • You are an outpatient aged 18 to 65
  • You have a DSM-5 diagnosis such as traumatic brain injury, major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, borderline personality disorder, or a substance use disorder
  • You do not have reasons you cannot safely do tDCS (such as epilepsy, certain implanted devices/metal in the head/neck, brain/nerve stimulators, brain shunts, pacemakers, or being pregnant)
  • You do not have active substance dependence (except tobacco or cannabis)
  • You can take part in all testing procedures
  • If you are a healthy control (not in the diagnoses listed), you do not have psychiatric or neurological disorders and you are not taking psychotropic medications
