  • You are between 60 and 85 years old.
  • You have had a TAVR (aortic valve replacement) through the leg artery successfully.
  • You do not have severe kidney disease (creatinine clearance below 30 or needing dialysis).
  • You do not have a serious liver condition (like cirrhosis or active hepatitis).
  • You are not taking certain medications that can interact with colchicine (ask your doctor).
