Who can take part

  • You must be an adult with rheumatoid arthritis that is considered difficult to treat.
  • You must not have had juvenile arthritis or inflammatory arthritis that started before age 18.
  • If you have seronegative RA (blood test negative for certain markers), your doctor must have ruled out polymyalgia rheumatica.
  • You must not have active fibromyalgia that causes pain or swelling that would make it hard to evaluate your joints.
