Who can take part

  • You have severe or moderate hemophilia A (factor VIII level below 5 IU/dL).
  • You have never had or currently have factor VIII inhibitors (antibodies that block treatment).
  • You have had no inhibitors in the last 3 years and a negative test in the past year.
  • Your factor VIII treatment and bleeding history from the last 6 months is documented.
  • You are willing to use effective contraception if you or your partner could become pregnant.
  • You do not have certain heart conditions or a history of heart rhythm problems.
