Home strength training for diabetes and mild memory loss

Who can take part

  • Age between 55 and 80 years old
  • Have had type 2 diabetes for at least 5 years
  • Have mild memory or thinking problems (mild cognitive impairment, not Alzheimer's disease)
  • Be on the same medications for diabetes or other conditions for at least 3 months
  • Have a doctor's approval that it's safe for you to do moderate exercise like brisk walking or light weight lifting
  • Have a family member or friend who can help you with using a smartphone or tablet if needed
