Walking with spinal stimulation for long-term spinal cord injury

Who can take part

  • You have had a spinal cord injury for more than 3 years and cannot walk at all.
  • Your injury is between the C5 and T10 levels of your spine, and you have some leg movement.
  • You can use crutches or a walker and are always in a wheelchair.
  • You are between 62 and 74 inches tall, weigh less than 220 pounds, and your legs fit the device's size limits.
  • You do not have any bone disease, recent fractures, or metal implants that could interfere with MRI scans.
  • You are not pregnant and not taking medications that affect muscle or bone.
