Who can take part

  • Your baby must be less than 28 days old when they enter the NICU.
  • Your baby must weigh less than 5 kg (about 11 pounds) when they enter the NICU.
  • Both parents (or the only parent recognized by law) must sign a consent form saying they understand the study.
