Who can take part

  • You are between 45 and 70 years old.
  • You have severe myopia (high nearsightedness) with advanced eye changes.
  • You have not had transcranial magnetic stimulation before and have no reasons you cannot receive it.
  • You have no other major eye diseases (like untreated retinal detachment, glaucoma, or cataracts) that would interfere.
  • You have not had eye surgery or certain eye injections in the past 3 months.
  • You do not have epilepsy, metal implants in your head, or a serious medical condition like severe heart or kidney disease.
