Who can take part
- You must have a confirmed throat cancer (oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma).
- Your tumor must be at least 3 centimeters in size, or a lymph node must be at least 3 centimeters, or both together must be at least 3 centimeters.
- If your cancer is HPV-related (p16 positive), you must have a history of smoking more than 10 pack-years.
- You must be in good physical condition (able to care for yourself), with normal kidney and blood counts.
- You cannot have cancer that has spread to distant organs or below the collarbone.
