Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old
  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of mitral annular disjunction on an echocardiogram
  • An MRI shows late gadolinium enhancement (a sign of scarring) in your heart muscle
  • You are able to give informed consent and are not under guardianship
  • You do not have an active infection, cancer, or a prior implanted heart device (ICD or loop recorder)
