Deep Caries in Primary Molars

This study compares two treatments for saving a decayed baby back tooth: a newer material called Neo Putty MTA and a standard medicine called formocresol. Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 4 and 9 years old.
  • They must have a decayed baby back tooth (molar) that does not hurt or show signs of infection like swelling or pain at night.
  • The tooth must have healthy roots (at least two-thirds still present) and should be restorable with a filling or crown.
  • Your child should be in good general health with no serious medical conditions.
  • You, as a parent, must agree to the study and sign a consent form.
