Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm using imaging tests like MRA, CTA, or DSA.
  • If your aneurysm caused bleeding in the brain, blood must be collected within 3 days of your symptoms starting.
  • You are scheduled for a surgery to fix the aneurysm, which starts between 8 AM and noon.
  • You do not have other serious health problems like diabetes, heart disease, cancer, or certain brain disorders.
  • You are not pregnant and do not have severe allergies to contrast dye or problems with blood clotting.
