Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with bronchiectasis (a lung condition that makes it hard to clear mucus) and had a chest CT scan in the last 3 years.
- You have a daily cough that brings up mucus, and your doctor has prescribed airway clearance therapy (like using a device or chest exercises to help clear your lungs).
- You produce more than about 1 teaspoon of mucus each day.
- Your breathing has been stable for the past 4 weeks (no recent lung infections or flare-ups requiring treatment).
- You are able to cough forcefully on your own and do not use a breathing machine (like a ventilator or CPAP mask).
- You have not had a collapsed lung in the last 6 months, and no major heart or lung surgery in the last 6 months.
