Who can take part

  • You must have newly diagnosed ALL that is Ph-negative
  • You must be between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have not had any prior treatment for this leukemia, except for urgent procedures like leukapheresis or certain radiation
  • You must be in good general health (ECOG score 0-2), or if your score is higher, it must be due to the ALL itself
  • If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test
  • You cannot have heart disease, severe liver disease, severe lung problems, kidney failure not caused by ALL, or certain other conditions that would make treatment unsafe
