Who can take part
- You must have a type of leukemia called Philadelphia chromosome-positive ALL (Ph+ ALL) or a related condition.
- You can be newly diagnosed (with little or no prior treatment) or have leukemia that has come back or not responded to treatment.
- You must be at least 12 years old and weigh at least 40 kg (about 88 pounds).
- You should be able to get out of bed and care for yourself (ECOG score 0-2 or Lansky score ≥50).
- Your liver, kidneys, pancreas, and heart must be working well enough (based on blood tests and physical exam).
- You cannot have a serious active infection, another active cancer, or a history of seizures or major brain problems.
