Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have at least 6 years of formal education.
  • You have schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression and are either newly diagnosed and untreated, or relapsed after stopping medication for more than a month.
  • You can have an MRI brain scan (no metal in your body, no claustrophobia).
  • You do not have a history of brain injury, substance abuse, or other serious medical or brain conditions.
