Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You are overweight or have a large waist (over 37 inches for men, 31.5 inches for women).
  • You have at least one of the following: high triglycerides, low 'good' cholesterol, high blood pressure (130/85 or higher), high fasting blood sugar (100 or higher), or you are on medication for these conditions.
  • You do not have a serious illness like cancer, heart failure, kidney disease, or an autoimmune disorder.
  • You do not have untreated diabetes.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding and do not have a drug or alcohol problem.
