Who can take part

  • You are 40 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with wet (neovascular) age-related macular degeneration, or you are a healthy volunteer without any AMD.
  • You have not had any eye surgery (like cataract or retina surgery) in the past 3 months.
  • You do not have other serious eye diseases, like diabetic retinopathy or severe nearsightedness (myopia over -10).
  • You can keep your eyes still and focus on a target during the imaging test.
