Who can take part
- You are a woman who has gone through menopause (at least 1 year since last period).
- You are either at a normal weight or overweight/obese.
- You have not had cancer before (for healthy participants) or you have early-stage luminal breast cancer that needs surgery (no prior treatment needed).
- Your weight has been stable (no more than 5% change) in the last 3 months.
- You are not currently on any weight loss program, diabetes treatment, or hormone replacement therapy.
- You have no major gut problems (like ulcers, chronic inflammation, or past surgeries that changed your digestive system) and you drink less than 14 alcoholic drinks per week.
