  • You have at least 10% liver fat on an MRI scan.
  • Your blood counts and thyroid levels are in a safe range.
  • You do not drink heavily (more than a glass of wine a day for women, two for men).
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
