Who can take part

  • You are 18 years of age or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis (a narrowed heart valve) and your doctor has recommended a valve replacement procedure called TAVR.
  • You are willing to have a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan of your heart.
  • You do not have any metal implants or devices in your body that would make an MRI unsafe (such as certain pacemakers or clips).
  • You are not claustrophobic (afraid of enclosed spaces) or can manage an MRI scan.
