Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You had a specific type of stroke called a ruptured brain aneurysm (spontaneous aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage).
- The aneurysm was treated with surgery or a catheter procedure within 48 hours of your first symptoms.
- At the time of the stroke, you were awake or drowsy but not in a coma (WFNS grade I–III).
- You do not have severe heart, liver, kidney, or blood problems, or allergies to the study drug (Gastrodia elata).
