Who can take part

  • You are a woman diagnosed with PCOS, with irregular periods for over 3 months, plus excess hair, acne, or cysts seen on ultrasound.
  • You have not taken any PCOS medication before or are not currently taking any.
  • You are not pregnant or have a pregnancy sac seen on ultrasound.
  • You do not have chronic diabetes (blood sugar over 200 mg/dL) or high blood pressure (140/90 or higher).
  • You are not allergic to metformin or myo-inositol.
