Checking diaphragm nerve function after pulsed field ablation

Who can take part

  • You have atrial fibrillation that is either paroxysmal (comes and goes) or persistent (stays for a while).
  • This is your first catheter ablation procedure for atrial fibrillation.
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You do not have a known history of diaphragm paralysis or neuromuscular disease.
  • You can have a special X-ray (fluoroscopy) to check your diaphragm before and after the procedure.
