Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are scheduled for a TAVR procedure through the leg artery using a 14 French sheath and a CoreValve replacement valve.
  • You do not have any major artery problems at the access site, such as a recent procedure or infection.
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners that can't be stopped safely.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or less.
