Who can take part

  • You must have active tuberculosis that is confirmed to be sensitive to standard drugs.
  • You must be between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You must have not been treated for TB before, or only for less than 1 month.
  • You must be willing to attend study visits and follow procedures.
  • If you have HIV, your CD4 count must be 200 or higher and you must be on stable HIV treatment.
