Who can take part

  • You are at least 20 years old.
  • You have been newly diagnosed with active TB in your lungs, confirmed by a lab test (culture or PCR) or by a doctor's judgment.
  • You have not taken TB medications for more than 14 days before joining.
  • Your liver and kidney function are within safe limits (based on blood tests).
  • You do not have TB that is resistant to common antibiotics (rifampin, isoniazid, ethambutol).
