Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have a diagnosis of schizophrenia and are now experiencing a sudden worsening of symptoms that started within the past 2 months.
- You are currently in the hospital due to this worsening, or have been hospitalized for less than 2 weeks.
- You are not currently taking a long-acting injectable antipsychotic, or if you are, it has been at least 12 weeks since your last dose (24 weeks for one specific type).
- You have not been considered treatment-resistant (for example, you have never needed clozapine or have not failed two different antipsychotic trials).
