- You have a narrowed lower spine (lumbar stenosis) and are scheduled for surgery, or had surgery less than 3 months ago.
- You have health insurance (social security) in France.
- You can walk on a treadmill.
- You do not have any major health issues that prevent a special CT scan with contrast dye, such as a recent stroke, heart attack, or severe heart problems.
