  • Your baby is under 3 months old
  • Your baby has a fever of 100.4°F or higher confirmed in the emergency room
  • Your baby has not taken antibiotics in the last 8 days
  • Parents or guardians must give permission for the baby to be in the study
  • Your family must have health insurance coverage in France
