Who can take part
- You are 19 years or older.
- You have chronic coronary syndrome (stable heart disease) and have had a stent placed.
- Your doctor plans for you to take clopidogrel (with aspirin) for at least 6 months after the stent.
- You are not allergic to any of the study medicines (stomach acid drugs, aspirin, clopidogrel).
- You have not had stomach surgery that changes acid production (except simple repairs or minor surgeries).
- You do not have certain inflammatory conditions or take HIV medications, and your liver and kidney labs are within a safe range.
