How oxygen moves in the eyes of nearsighted children

Who can take part

  • You are between 8 and 13 years old
  • You have normal eye health except for nearsightedness
  • Your nearsightedness is -1.0 diopter or worse in both eyes (measured after drops that relax your eyes)
  • You have not had any serious eye problems or surgeries in the past
  • You can read letters on an eye chart (20/25 vision or better)
  • You avoid caffeinated drinks (like soda, coffee, or tea) for 12 hours before the study visit
