This study uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze ultrasound images and predict pregnancy outcomes for babies with early-onset fetal growth restriction (FGR) caused by placenta problems. If you are carrying a single baby with this condition and your doctor is continuing to monitor the pregnancy without immediate delivery, this trial may apply to you.

Who can take part

  • You are pregnant with one baby (not twins or more).
  • Your baby has early-onset FGR (fetal growth restriction) because the placenta isn't working well, especially if there are abnormal blood flow patterns in the umbilical artery.
  • You and your doctor have chosen to continue monitoring the pregnancy (expectant management) rather than delivering right away.
  • The FGR is not caused by a problem with the baby's structures, genes, or an infection during pregnancy.
  • You do not have a twin pregnancy where one baby has already passed away.
