Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with stable angina (chest pain that comes on with activity and goes away with rest) and have been stable for at least 4 weeks.
- You are already taking standard heart medications (like blood thinners, cholesterol pills, or beta-blockers) and have been on the same doses for at least 4 weeks.
- You have a Traditional Chinese Medicine pattern of 'chest yang deficiency with heart vessel stasis' – which means you have chest tightness or pain, palpitations (feeling your heart pound), and at least two other symptoms like trouble sleeping, feeling cold, sweating, or irritability.
- You are willing to sign a consent form and take part in the study.
