This trial tests if a newer painkiller (oliceridine) causes less nausea after a specific type of brain surgery than the standard painkiller (sufentanil). Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for elective CPA region surgery (a type of brain surgery near the hearing and balance nerve).
  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • Your physical health is rated as ASA I, II, or III (generally healthy or with mild to moderate illness).
  • You are willing and able to provide written consent to join the study.
  • You have not taken strong painkillers (like morphine or oxycodone) for a week or more before the trial.
  • You have no severe heart, lung, liver, kidney, or other major diseases, and you are not in the ICU on a breathing tube after surgery.
