Brain scan study for OCD with sensory experiences

Obsessive - Compulsive Disorder

This study uses MRI scans to understand how the brain processes sensory feelings in people with OCD. You may be able to join if you have moderate to severe OCD and certain sensory experiences, like feelings of things being "just right."

Who can take part

  • Be between 18 and 55 years old.
  • Have a diagnosis of OCD with moderate to severe symptoms.
  • Experience strong sensory feelings (like needing things to feel "just right") or have very few such feelings.
  • Be right-handed.
  • Be either not taking medication or on a stable dose for at least 8 weeks.
  • Be able to have an MRI (no metal implants, not pregnant).
