  • You need to get regular red blood cell transfusions and depend on them.
  • You must be 5 years old or older.
  • You must not have an autoimmune disease.
  • You must not have an active infection or inflammatory condition.
  • You must not be taking immunosuppressive therapy (medicines that lower your immune system).
