Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 50 years old and not currently smoke.
- Your weight and blood pressure must fit one of three groups: healthy weight with normal blood pressure, obesity (BMI 30 or higher) with normal blood pressure, or obesity with high blood pressure.
- If you are female and can become pregnant, you must use reliable contraception and have negative pregnancy tests during the study.
- You must not have diabetes or take any injectable diabetes medications.
- You must not have serious heart conditions, such as heart failure, significant valve disease, or a pacemaker/defibrillator.
- You must not be taking blood thinners or have certain other medical conditions (like pancreatitis or thyroid cancer).
