Who can take part

  • You have had a heart attack or unstable chest pain (acute coronary syndrome).
  • You also had heart failure while in the hospital.
  • You are 85 years or younger.
  • Your muscle strength is at least grade 3 (able to move against gravity).
  • You have no mental illness and can follow instructions.
  • You are willing to participate and sign a consent form.
