  • Child is between 4 and 8 years old.
  • Child has at least two back baby teeth that are infected or have dead nerves.
  • The infected teeth show signs of infection like gum pimple, pain when chewing, or loose tooth.
  • The infection does not go into the area where the permanent tooth is growing.
  • Child has no major health problems like heart disease, diabetes, or weak immune system.
  • The infected teeth are not so loose that they are about to fall out on their own.
