Study of Super CAR-T for advanced liver cancer (GPC3-positive)
Part of Cancer, Digestive system clinical trials.
This trial tests a new cell therapy called Super CAR-T for people with advanced liver cancer that has GPC3 protein. It aims to see if the treatment is safe and effective. You may be eligible if your cancer has not responded to or stopped working on at least two standard treatments.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
- Your liver cancer must be advanced (stages IIa to IIIb according to Chinese staging or stage C by BCLC, or stage B that cannot be operated on).
- You must have already tried and failed or not tolerated at least two standard cancer treatments.
- Your tumor must test positive for a protein called GPC3. This is checked with a special stain.
- You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans, and your overall health status must be good (ECOG 0 or 1).

This study tests a new cell therapy (called CG-102-12C) for advanced liver cancer that has a specific marker (GPC3) and has stopped responding to standard treatments. The therapy uses your own immune cells, specially trained to attack the cancer. This might be an option if you have tried other treatments and they no longer work or cause bad side effects.
This trial tests CAR-T cell therapy (immune cells changed to target GPC-3) for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma, especially when standard treatments no longer work or you cannot tolerate them. If eligible, the goal is to shrink tumors and help you live longer with improved cancer control.
This Phase 1 study tests a personalized immune-cell treatment (CAR T cells) for advanced liver cancer that has the GPC3 protein. It aims to see whether these engineered cells can find and kill cancer cells safely and help shrink the cancer.
This trial tests a new type of immune cell therapy, called CAR-T cells, that are engineered to target a protein called GPC3 found on liver cancer cells. It is for people with advanced liver cancer that has not responded to previous treatments.
This trial tests a custom immune-cell treatment (CAR-T) that targets a marker called GPC3 in people with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer). It’s for cases where standard treatments have not worked well, and the goal is to shrink tumors and improve outcomes.
This trial tests a new type of cell therapy called C-CAR031, which is designed to target and attack liver cancer cells that have a protein called GPC3. It is for people with advanced liver cancer who have already tried other treatments and are looking for a new option.
