Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older with a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher with a weight-related condition like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, or heart disease.
  • If you have type 2 diabetes, your BMI must be 27 or higher and your diabetes treatment must have been stable for at least 3 months.
  • You cannot have lost or gained more than 5% of your body weight in the last 3 months without trying.
  • You cannot have taken certain weight-loss or diabetes medications like Ozempic, Mounjaro, or similar drugs in the last 3 months.
  • You must not have a history of pancreatitis, a rare thyroid tumor, or unstable heart problems.
