Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • Your BMI is 30 or higher, or your BMI is 27 or higher and you have a weight-related condition like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, or heart disease.
  • You have tried to lose weight before, even if it didn't work well.
  • You have not been diagnosed with diabetes (type 1 or type 2) and have not had diabetic ketoacidosis.
  • Your weight has been stable (no more than 11 pounds or 5 kg change) in the last 3 months.
  • You have not had pancreatitis and have no history of a certain type of thyroid cancer in you or a close family member.
