  • You have osteoarthritis of the hip and are planning to have a total hip replacement surgery.
  • You are 45 years old or older.
  • You can read and understand Polish.
  • You have not had any prior surgery on the hip or sacroiliac joint.
  • You do not have certain medical conditions (like cancer, hip dysplasia, or rheumatoid arthritis).
  • You are not allergic to local anesthetics (medications that numb a specific area).
