Who can take part

  • You are age 40 to 79.
  • You have knee osteoarthritis pain for more than 3 months, mainly on the inner (femoro-tibial) side.
  • Your X-ray shows moderate disease (Kellgren-Lawrence stage 2 or 3) in the leg joint area within the last 6 months.
  • Your pain score is high enough (ENS at least 40/100) despite usual pain treatments, or you can’t take those treatments.
  • You must be able to consent, read instructions, and fill out questionnaires; and be willing to follow study medicine rules (including stopping certain NSAIDs briefly).
