Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are in good or relatively good health (ASA II or III).
  • You are having a planned (elective) cesarean section.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is less than 30.
  • You do not have serious heart, lung, kidney, liver, or metabolic diseases, or any neurologic or psychiatric condition.
