PET scan for small cell lung cancer diagnosis

This study uses a special PET scan (68Ga-PFD3) to take pictures of small cell lung cancer tumors. The goal is to see if this scan can help doctors better diagnose and evaluate the cancer, which may guide treatment decisions.

Who can take part

  • You must be an adult (18 or older).
  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of small cell lung cancer (SCLC).
  • You must have at least one tumor that is 1 cm or larger, seen on a standard scan like CT.
  • Blood tests (complete blood count and chemistry) must be done within 4 weeks before starting the study.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You must not have any condition that prevents a PET scan (like severe claustrophobia or being over the weight limit).
  • You must not have received prior treatment that targets DLL3.
